Two new stores get fashionistas excited

-

TWO new clothing stores are arriving at Cabot Circus – and they’re making fashionistas very excited.

Bershka, opening on Concorde Street in winter, is part of the Inditex group along with chains Zara and Pull & Bear.

The Spanish brand was created in 1998 and now, 18 years since its inception, has more than 1,000 stores in more than 70 countries all over the world, but this will be its first ever in Bristol.

It has four branches in London and this will be its first outside the capital.

That will follow the opening of & Other Stories on Brigstocke Street, set to open in autumn, which is a more expensive sister brand of popular retailer H&M and also part of the Cos and Monki family.

While Bershka caters for both men and women, & Other Stories only stocks women’s clothing.

It has several stores in London but only two outside the capital city in Dublin and Manchester respectively, making this its third.

It has not yet been confirmed where the two new stores will be, but developer Hammerson has said they will be in two ‘prime spaces’.

Ian Mitchell of Hammerson said: “As one of the UK’s major retail hubs, we are pleased to see the appetite from major retail groups to take further space at Cabot Circus.

“We look forward to welcoming shoppers to these new stores, which look set to deliver an exciting and compelling store experience.

“Providing a varied and high quality fashion offer for our shoppers is key to ensuring Cabot Circus remains the region’s leading retail and leisure destination.”
