Run marathon to help the hospice

Bristol Post - - NEWS -

PEOPLE who have secured places to run the 2019 London Marathon are being urged to pull on their trainers to raise money for St Peter’s Hospice.

Runners found out this month whether they were successful in securing places for the iconic run in the capital.

Now the charity is asking people to pound the streets of London to raise money for Bristol’s only adult hospice.

St Peter’s Hospice community fundraiser Esther Hall said: “The Virgin Money London Marathon is truly iconic, and running it for St Peter’s Hospice would make this once in a life-time experience all the more special.

“If you choose to run for your local hospice, we’ll be there to support you throughout your journey.

“I can think of no greater motivation to get you out pounding the pavements, than knowing that you’re supporting local patients and their families.”

Anyone wanting to run the London Marathon for the hospice should contact Esther on 01275391420 or email community@stpetershospice.org.
