Helping Flyers hit new heights
A BRISTOL law firm is helping Bristol Flyers Women’s basketball team reach new heights.
Commercial law firm Meade King has agreed to be the team’s main kit sponsor as part of the firm’s drive to support women’s and grassroots sport in the city.
Established in the 2015/16 season, Bristol Flyers Women have quickly become one of the leading female basketball teams in the South West.
They compete in England’s National League Division 1 and play their games at the SGS Wise Arena. Under the guidance of exFlyers men’s captain Gareth Till, Flyers women have been a competitive force in their first few seasons back in national league basketball, reaching the play-offs twice.
Gareth said: “We are really excited Meade King has agreed to sponsor the women’s team and help put women’s sport on the map.
