Extra flights launched from city

FANCY a winter escape? TUI has revealed plans to expand its service from Bristol Airport with new weekly routes to some wonderful destinatio­ns.

Holiday-goers can now fly weekly to the stunning Keflavik in Iceland direct from Bristol, while additional routes to Naples in Italy and Dalaman in Turkey have also been put on.

In addition there will be more flights to Tenerife, inset, for the 2019 season, with an additional day added to the flight programme for flights from Bristol to the Spanish island on Sundays.

On sale now, the winter 2019 programme promises an increased capacity of nearly 8,000 additional seats at Bristol Airport. TUI UK’s Director of Aviation Planning Karen Switzer said: “Adding more choice and flexi- bility for the winter 2019 season demonstrat­es our commitment to Bristol Airport and the local area, as we continue to focus on expanding access to our amazing range of holidays through an extended flying programmin­g concentrat­ed on the core destinatio­ns that we know our customers want to visit.”

For the first time ever, TUI will also be selling summer 2020 holidays from early November – the earliest the operator has sold a summer programme.
