Ex­tra flights launched from city

FANCY a win­ter es­cape? TUI has re­vealed plans to ex­pand its ser­vice from Bris­tol Air­port with new weekly routes to some won­der­ful des­ti­na­tions.

Hol­i­day-go­ers can now fly weekly to the stun­ning Ke­flavik in Ice­land di­rect from Bris­tol, while ad­di­tional routes to Naples in Italy and Dala­man in Turkey have also been put on.

In ad­di­tion there will be more flights to Tener­ife, in­set, for the 2019 sea­son, with an ad­di­tional day added to the flight pro­gramme for flights from Bris­tol to the Span­ish is­land on Sun­days.

On sale now, the win­ter 2019 pro­gramme prom­ises an in­creased ca­pac­ity of nearly 8,000 ad­di­tional seats at Bris­tol Air­port. TUI UK’s Di­rec­tor of Avi­a­tion Plan­ning Karen Switzer said: “Adding more choice and flexi- bil­ity for the win­ter 2019 sea­son demon­strates our com­mit­ment to Bris­tol Air­port and the lo­cal area, as we con­tinue to fo­cus on ex­pand­ing ac­cess to our amaz­ing range of hol­i­days through an ex­tended fly­ing pro­gram­ming con­cen­trated on the core des­ti­na­tions that we know our cus­tomers want to visit.”

For the first time ever, TUI will also be sell­ing sum­mer 2020 hol­i­days from early Novem­ber – the ear­li­est the op­er­a­tor has sold a sum­mer pro­gramme.
