It doesn’t matter how you wear a poppy

✒ I AM sure if there was a right way to wear a poppy then those appearing on TV would be wearing it that way (Peter Brimble, Letters November 8). I seem to remember this question being raised on morning TV and the answer was it didn’t matter which way you wore it, the important thing was to wear one. As far as I know the British Legion has never given any specific guidance on how it should be worn.
