Dr Ray Greek

is President and co-founder of Americans and Europeans for Medical Advancement, a not-for-profit, sciencebased, patient advocacy organisation dedicated to improving healthcare through biomedical research. Dr Greek defeated plans by Cambridge University to build a non-human primate laboratory with a precedent ruling on ‘national interest, medical and scientific grounds’.

For Life on Earth is a campaign group which argues that evidence from up-to-date science demands that experiments on animals must be stopped on human medical and scientific grounds.

The actor Peter Egan is the campaign’s patron, which is also supported by comedian Ricky Gervais.
