AEK Boco at last had something to celebrate after gaining their first win of the season, beating Rockleaze Rangers 3-0.

The home side started well and took the lead on ten minutes when a screaming long-range drive by Cash Vinall took a slight deflection on its way into the net.

Rangers never really got going and went 2-0 down on 30 minutes when Jack Green intercepted a pass across the box and drew the keeper before slotting home. Green was at it again on 35 minutes when he picked up a loose ball on the edge of the box, slipped past a defender and curled his shot home.

Henbury recovered from conceding a second-minute goal – scored from the penalty spot by Josh Morris – to run out 2-1 winners at home to Patchway.

The home side huffed and puffed after that, with Harvey Moran directing a header wide and Jenson Manning seeing a goal-bound shot well saved by Patchway goalkeeper Sam Burgess.

The home side upped the tempo in the second half, but it took them until the 83rd minute to break through, with Rex Manning driving home a cross from Joe Lomey.

And Henbury grabbed the winner two minutes from time when Geoerge Loud expertly controlled a centre from Jenson Manning before driving the ball past Burgess from the edge of the box.

Little Stoke crashed to a 4-1 defeat at Hardwicke.

The home side went ahead on 12 minutes with a Will Higgins penalty after James Ratcliffe had raced down the left and cut into the box, where he was brought down by Jack Burgess.

It was 2-0 in the 37th minute when a Ratcliffe cross was powered into the net by a Pat Vernall header.

Little Stoke’s Luke Meacham had a 30-yard drive cleared off the line by Craig Beaton, before they pulled a goal back on the hour mark when the ball was knocked over the home defence and Ethan Moore ran clear to score.

The home side made it 3-1 five minutes from time when Will Matthews headed in Rich Mansell’s free-kick and four minutes later Higgins slipped into the box to round off the scoring.

Hanham Athletic went down 1-0 at Broadwell Amateurs. The goal came in the 35th minute when Kristian Burnard squared the ball for Ben Fishwick to score.

Joe Treasure came closest to equalising for Hanham, but his shot was just wide.
