Bristol Post - - NEWS -

A BRISTOL building firm has collapsed into administration.

Helm Construction, which is based near Severn Beach, appointed administrators on Monday.

Steven John Parker and Trevor John Binyon of Opus Restructuring LLP have been appointed to oversee the administration of the business.

The company, which was only advertising for new staff on Twitter on November 17, announced the news on its website.

It said: “The business and assets of the company are now managed by the administrators. Please note that the administrators are agents of the company and act without personal liability.”

Helm has worked on property projects across Bristol including a nursery in Southville, the conversion of old commercial office building St Luke’s Hall; and Bridge House Apartments in Clifton.

The business is also involved in the construction of three townhouses in Kingswood and apartments in Wells Road in the city. It is not known what will happen to the projects that have not yet been completed.

The company’s directors have declined to comment on the administration.
