Young­sters take off in search of Santa

DE­SERV­ING young­sters from across Bris­tol took to the skies for a scenic flight in search of Santa.

Ex­cited lit­tle ones and their par­ents and car­ers boarded the spe­cial Search for Santa flight op­er­ated by Thomas Cook at Bris­tol Ai­port. Young pas­sen­gers en­joyed a party in the de­par­ture lounge be­fore take-off and fes­tive songs and games on board. And there were cheers of de­light as Santa put in an ap­pear­ance.

Char­i­ties and or­gan­i­sa­tions at­tend­ing in­cluded the Chil­dren’s Hospice South West, The Rain­bow Cen­tre, fly­2help and the Baytree School, We­ston-su­perMare.

A spokesman for Bris­tol Air­port said: “This is the most ex­cit­ing flight of the year. It’s about giv­ing chil­dren who have had a tough year, for what­ever rea­son, a treat. We love wel­com­ing the fam­i­lies on board in our search for Santa.”
