AWEDDING dress retailer with a store in the the Galleries in Bristol has been named among the fastest-growing companies in the UK.

WED2B came 32 on a list of the country’s top firms for growth.

The annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table ranks the top 100 private companies in Britain with the fastest growing sales over the past three years.

Founded in 2009, WED2B has since grown to 36 stores in the UK and three shops in Europe, with the Bristol branch opening in 2016.

The retailer claims to have “revitalised” the way brides shop for wedding dresses.

All the dresses, which are all made in the UK, are priced at £599 and under, and are bought off-thepeg, meaning brides can take the dress home the same day.

WED2B has opened 12 stores altogether this year, with several sites around the UK, as well as a branch in Dublin and two in Belgium, and saw sales of £18.4m in the last financial year.

Managing director Todd Cassidy said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been named once again as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK.

“It shows that our proposition, which puts the needs of brides-tobe at the heart of everything we do, is paying off.

“Furthermore, the team have worked considerably hard, so it’s great to see their efforts being recognised by one of the most prestigious league tables for business growth.”

Bristol’s store manager Sophie Weston thanked the customers for the company’s success.

She said: “Without them the company wouldn’t be where it is today. The Bristol team are delighted to have helped so many brides-to-be find ‘the one’ for their special day at WED2B.”

“In a climate of uncertainty, it’s more important than ever to recognise those entrepreneurs, like those of this year’s Fast Track 100, who are making the world a better place for everybody.”

WED2B first appeared in the league table in 2017 at 18th place.
