MYSTERIOUS BURN HOLES ACROSS UK BAFFLE SCIENTISTS
SCIENTISTS PERPLEXED APPEAR, LEAVING AN AS WEIRD BURN HOLES ODD SHAPE BEHIND
Bizarre burn holes with an unusual shape are appearing randomly across the UK.
The baffling phenomenon is sending scientists into a spin, firing up intense debate over what is causing the peculiar events.
While it may look like a scene from armageddon, authorities say there’s no need for alarm.
“While we are yet to have any conclusive answers on the holes – they won’t harm. Meteorites, abnormally hot air and global warming are among the possible causes,” explains scientist Joe Bloggs.
“There’s also been a large number of fireflies attracted by our unusually good weather, which hasn’t been ruled out.
“The only real known variables at this stage are that all holes resemble a nugget shape and those in close proximity begin to water at the mouth uncontrollably,” Bloggs adds.
Meteorologists are closely monitoring the weather forecast, saying that rising temperatures might be linked to the strange sights.
“We are forecasting record-breaking temperatures of up to 47 degrees at the start of August. We feel there is a direct link between the flaming craters and the predicted heatwave,” meteorologist Joanna Doe explains.
In total, there have been 27 sightings recorded. The flaming holes have been spotted in cities right across the country, including London, Cardiff, Lancashire, York – and can even be seen in today’s newspaper.
Authorities predict there could be an increase in activity from the 7th of August, coincidentally aligning with the launch of McDonald’s new Spicy Chicken McNuggets®.
Regardless of the cause, chances are, things are gonna get even more spicy….
