Suburban Parker powers Rangers to victory with five goals at Ridings High

MATT Parker scored all five goals for unbeaten Stoke Rangers in a 5-2 victory at Ridings High in Premier Two.

John Stephens scored four times as leaders North Bristol United maintained their 100 per cent record by overcoming Wessex Wanderers 7-0 at South Bristol Sports Centre. Darren Hoare, Tom Williamson and Scott Feltham were the other North Bristol marksmen.

Fourth-placed Keynsham Town A drew 1-1 at home to local rivals AFC Brislingto­n Reserves.

Stockwood Wanderers Reserves moved up to sixth place after a 5-2 home win against Almondsbur­y Reserves in a game moved to Manor Road, Keynsham.

Three teams have 100 per cent records in Premier One, and leaders Stoke Gifford United had six different goalscorer­s in a 6-1 win at the Stoke Gifford Stadium against AFC Mangotsfie­ld. Callum May, Josh Staworwki, Darren Edwards, Jack Bryan, Harry Hudson and Essa Sabally were on target for the leaders.

Second-placed Avonmouth won 7-0 at Bristol Bilbao, while goals from Dave Hughes and Danny Lloyd earned third-placed Bristol Spartak a 2-1 victory at home to Southmead Athletic.

Filton Athletic moved into fourth place and remain unbeaten after a 2-1 home win over Rockleaze Rangers Reserves. Taylor Anderson and Liam Dorman were the Filton marksmen.

Free-scoring Parson Street OB followed last week’s ten goals with another seven with a single reply at home to Old Georgians.

There were no games in Division One and Division Two because of GFA Junior Cup ties.

In Division Three, Cameron Phipps bagged a brace to help Brandon Sports to their first win of the season, 3-1 at home to Socius United. Oskar Eichler, on his debut, also scored for Sports, while Harrison Langman replied for Socius.

Micky Alden notched a hat trick for Park Knowle Reserves in a 4-3 home win against Parson Street OB Reserves. In a nice touch, the referee gave his match fee to the Breast Cancer Appeal.

The top five teams in Division Four are new teams. Goals from Jaiden Hoover (3), Nathan Taylor (2), Danny Daly and Finlay Dorrington gave Little Stoke A, the leaders, a 7-2 win at Kellaway Rangers.

Second-placed Brentry Athletic dropped two points at fellow newcomers Eastville Rangers in a 2-2 draw. Jamie Choudary bagged both Eastville goals.

Bedminster Down lost for the first time this season, despite two goals from Jack Tolliver, and are joined in third place by Valhalla, who beat them 5-2.

Jamie Jonas scored twice as Hanham Abbotonian­s continued their improved form with a 3-2 win at Corinthian Sports Reserves. Jake Harriman also scored for Hanham.

Cutters A gained their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with visitors Bromley Heath United A. TC Sports and Stoke Gifford United A fought out a goalless draw at Southey Avenue.
