A FLIGHT OF FANCY

-

I FLEW with Turkish Airlines on, a three-and-a-half-hour journey that leaves you with just enough time to watch a film and enjoy the complimentary menu.

A wide selection of in-flight entertainment included all the newest movie releases, with something for every age and taste.

Food is by luxury catering company Turkish Do & Co and there’s a variety of options to suit all requirements including vegans and those with allergies.

They cater for the likes of Formula 1 teams along with the ATP Tennis Masters and volleyball champions – so you know you’re in safe hands.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to Business Class, which also meant I could enjoy the No 1 Lounge at Birmingham Airport.

With a fully tended bar and a view of the runway, it offers the chance to chill before your gate is called.

It’s free for Business Class flyers but anyone can enjoy the calming environment for an extra cost. Adult admission is £28 and children £18 when booked online in advance.

If you leave it to the last minute, you can pay £35 each on the door.

Returning home, we made use of the Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge, with endless food options.
