IN your Flashback feature “The latte greats” you showed Sharon Maughan, who featured with Anthony Head in the Nestle Gold Blend adverts.

On a business trip in the 90s I was in the Virgin VIP Lounge at Heathrow (thanks to a lucky error by the Travel Dept) and Anthony Head walked in and ordered a coffee. The barman’s deadpan response was “That would be Gold Blend then, Sir”.
