Appeal after crash driver fails to stop

A DRIVER failed to stop following a two-car crash on the M5.

Avon and Somerset Police has issued an appeal for witnesses to the collision involving a Renault Clio and what has been described as a large white car, which left the scene of the crash on Wednesday.

Police say the collision happened on the northbound carriagewa­y of the Almondsbur­y Interchang­e at 6.20pm.

No one was injured in the crash which left the Clio facing in the wrong direction.

Police are keen to speak to the driver of the white car, who left the scene without stopping to provide their details.

It’s thought that the car had front end damage and blue paint transfer as a result of the collision.
