GUESSABLE: A GUESSING GAME SHOW

A SECOND outing for Sara Pascoe on tonight’s telly as she hosts this amusing comedy game show celebrating “the art of guessing”.
Alan Davies and Darren Harriott are team captains as they guess for glory.
This time, presenter Clare Balding and comedians Jason Manford, Russell Kane and Dane Baptiste are welcomed into the loft-themed studio, with John Kearns as the resident expert who sits in a leather swivel chair surrounded by books.
Clare becomes rather frighteningly competitive in a ‘What am I?’ round, which sees Miley Cyrus bizarrely described in furlongs.
Alan and Russell go head to head to give the best impressions they can in a quickfire round.
Generally it’s like one
big extended game of charades, with lots of guessing, shouting, arguing and bluffing.
Ultimately they must identify the famous face or object inside a mystery box – a feat that seems more and more unattainable as the game goes on.
