Dancer and Corbiere keep Weston top of the Premier

BRISTOL Weston United continue to set the pace at the top of the Bristol Premier Sunday League Premier Division, but had to work had for a 2-1 victory against FC United of Yate at Sunnyside playing Fields.

Dan Dancer and Luke Corbiere fired Bristol Weston to a fifth win from six games, while Ryan Draper scored for Yate.

Galenicals had two goals apiece from Timmy Henery and Guy Willmott and one from Luke Davies in a 5-0 home victory against Tytheringt­on Rocks Sunday .

Division One leaders Bristol Academia made it six wins out of six with a 7-2 success against AFC Lodekka , but did conceded their first goals of the season.

Otis Francis led the way with four goals, with Kai Baily, Kenley Common and Keanu Downer also on target. The Lodekka marksmen were James Ford and Cory Lower.

Kingswood Athletic moved above Lockstock United into second place with a 3-2 win against them at Somerdale.

Lewis Jefferies, Michael Jones and Chrlie Millard scored for Kingswood, who led 1-0 at half-time, while Josiah Mayled and Rashaun Neves replied for Lockstock.

Little Stoke OB won 7-3 at Bristol Jaguars , while Breakaways won 4-2 at home to Warwick , whose goals came from Milo Brown and Josh Meacock.

AFC Sodbury stayed top of Division One despite being held to a 4-4 draw by Cutters Friday A at Stockwood. Nathan Brown (2), Charlie Davis and Zachary Cox scored for Sodbury.

Yate Rangers and Borussia Bristol remain in second and third following a 2-2 draw at Kelston Close. Cory Luke and Toby Strauss scored for Yate, while Keaton Cook struck twice for Borussia.

Hanham Cricket ran out 4-3 victors at Longreach Athletic , whose goals came from Jordan Cox, Matthew Troth and Jamie Elliott.

Division Two table-toppers Whitchurch had goals from Craig Turner (2), Shane Cummins and Sam Moore in a 4-0 home win against Shire Green Rovers .

Shadwell Rovers had goals from Michael Barton and Douglas Nash in a 2-2 home draw against Bristol Argyle , who replied through Dominic Ball and Luke Hembury.

A 3-0 win against Bristol Blues kept Hanham Athletic top of Division Three. Hambrook United moved up to third with a 9-1 home success against Sporting United , thanks to goals from Eric Davies (4), Joshua Cook, Will Ward, Nathan Gould and Callum Parsons, as well as an own goal. Sam Nolan scored for Sporting. Aaron Turner’s strike was enough to give AFC Sodbury Reserves a 1-0 home win against Longreach Athletic Reserves .

Division Four frontrunne­rs Bristol Union edged out Bristol Spartak 2-1 at Filwood, thanks to goals from Alix Miller and Aaron West. Josh Humber scored for Spartak. Second-placed Badocks Wood won 9-1 at DRG Frenchay , while Southmead Sunday edged out The Argonauts 4-3. Spartans Reserves won 8-5 against Digital Dash , courtesy of goals from Jack Smith (4), Louis Snailham (3) and Mike Swanson.
