Court ‘NCA worker had sex with me when I was just 13’
AWOMAN has told a jury a member of the National Crime Agency had sex with her several times while she was still a child.
The complainant alleged she had sexual activity with James Bryant, pictured inset, from the age of 13 to 15.
And she cited a time when she and Bryant, who worked for the National Crime Agency, engaged in a sexual threesome with a woman.
She told Bristol Crown Court: “I’m not lying.”
It is claimed Bryant “moulded and manipulated” the youngster from when she was aged 13.
She says he persuaded her to send him photos of her private parts and told her to touch herself when he phoned her. A jury heard he also got her to carry out a further sex act.
They went on to have sex on numerous occasions, in Bristol and elsewhere, and on one occasion together with an adult woman, the jury was told.
Bryant, 40, of Charter House Close in Nailsea, denies three charges of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He also denies 12 charges of sexual activity with a child but has admitted three sexual activity with a child charges.
He also denies sexual assault of a woman by touching her bottom.
The complainant said she had “phone sex” with Bryant in which she pretended to perform intimate acts on herself.
She said that, early into knowing him, she sent him intimate images of herself.
The complainant said she first had sex with Bryant on her bed at her family home and later in hotels.
She told the court she was aged around 15 or 16 when Bryant asked her to “do stuff” with a lesbian and take photos, and she did so even though she was not sexually attracted to her.
The woman told the jury: “I didn’t want sex with her. “I did have sex with her. He encouraged me. “He did encourage me to send pictures.”
She told the court when she was 15, Bryant gave her £50 to buy a sex toy from the Anne Summers shop in Broadmead, which she used with another woman, five years older than her.
She told the court: “James planned the whole thing.
“(The woman) kissed James at some point. We went into the room and got undressed once James told us to.
“I was a willing participant. I was not enthusiastic.”
The complainant said Bryant paid for her to travel from Bristol so they could have sex in hotels.
She said the next day she would leave the hotel at 6am and could be back in Bristol for school at 9am.
She also told the jury that she was as young as 13 or 14 when she suffered from infections after having sex with Bryant.
