Boy airlifted to hospital after crash

A YOUNG child has been airlifted to hospital after a collision in Yate.

There was a heavy emergency service presence following the crash between a car and a child on Monday evening. The boy suffered a leg injury not believed to be lifethreatening. The driver of the car has been arrested by police.
