FACEBOOK’S AUDIO ROOMS ARE LIVE

There is, at last, movement on Facebook’s promise to unleash some of its audio products… but sadly the new stuff will only be rolling out in the US for now.

This week the social giant pushed the button on its in-app podcast features and its Live Audio Rooms – a feature to rival Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces, which have been making so much noise lately.

For now only a select group of public figures can launch chat rooms, but Facebook says it’ll expand the feature to all users over the coming months.

No word yet on when all this might come to the UK, or when the Soundbites audio post feature will see the light of day...
