Saving money for foibles?

-

LAST week not for the first time our recycling was not removed on the due date which was on a Monday.

The council were contacted on their site early Monday evening after 5pm and the usual email was received the following day .

Another resident tried to contact them over phone. They got the usual reply: it will be done. Any rate, our little close was missed completely for the whole week.

Today when recycling was being done, some minor remarks not criticising the workmen were made over the non-collection and one let it slip that our road was not on list to be done.

My query is, as many roads were missed last week, are the council trying to save cost at council tax payers’ expense due to money wasted by the expensive foibles of those at top ie the energy company, and Bristol Beacon? Just to name a couple of many more expensive mistakes that have been made. David Williams
