Undercover officers shot

THREE undercover law enforcement officers were shot and wounded on Wednesday morning while driving onto a road in Chicago’s South Side, police said.

The shooting was reported about 6am near the 22nd District police station in the city’s Morgan Park neighbourhood.

The injuries to the officers were reportedly not considered lifethreatening.

No arrests have been reported.
