300 new Covid infections in city

ANOTHER 670 coronavirus cases have been confirmed across the Bristol region, latest figures show.

The highest increase was in Bristol, with 299 infections reported. Our city also has 13 Covid patients battling on ventilators, with nine in North Bristol Trust and four at University Hospitals Bristol. A total of 99 people are being cared for at hospitals across Bristol after being diagnosed with Covid.
