‘No link’ between pig’s head and fire
POLICE investigating a hate crime in Barton Hill have said it is believed the incident is “not linked” to the fire at Eccleston House last month.
The incident saw a pig’s head being left on public view near the tower block on Sunday.
The force have been appealing for information, or relevant dashcam or doorbell footage from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and a mobile police station has been implemented close to Eccleston House where officers are holding daily talks. The daily sessions also include the Neighbourhood Policing team who are there to support and listen to local residents.
Chief Inspector Deepak Kenth of Avon and Somerset Police said in an update that officers are making progress with the investigation and have a number of active lines of enquiry.
