District Savory strikes twice in Iron Acton triumph

IRON Acton Reserves are starting to look like potential title challengers in the Senior Division following a 4-3 home win against Longwell Green Sports A.

A fourth win in six games this season lifted Iron Acton’s second string to fourth in the table and was secured via strikes from Tom Savory (2), Keaton Cook and Oscar Delreo.

Second-placed Old Sodbury eased to a 9-1 success at Chipping Sodbury A, whose goal came from Andy Paris, while Henbury Reserves battled out a 1-1 draw against Totterdown United Reserves. Lewis Hammond struck for Henbury, with Toby Carter on target for Totterdown.
