Teenagers injured in park assault

TWO boys, aged 14 and 16, were assaulted by three people in a South Gloucester­shire park.

Police are now appealing for informatio­n from the public following the assault, which took place around 11pm on Friday, October 28.

The 16-year-old sustained head injuries in the assault on Patchway Common, behind Oaktree Crescent in Bradley Stoke. The 14-year-old suffered a broken nose and serious facial injuries. Both of the teenagers received treatment in hospital.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Police are now looking for three suspects.

One is described as white and about 16 years old.

One suspect had brown hair and was wearing a light grey Nike tracksuit with a large V across the chest and Nike Airforce trainers, and he was carrying a black bag. The other suspect was wearing a black jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.

There is no descriptio­n of the third suspect.
