Watch World Cup with football legends

-

A BAR venue in the centre of Bristol has lined up a number of the city’s football legends to ‘host’ the England games in the World Cup being broadcast on the big screens.

Bambalan, at the bottom of the Beacon Tower in The Centre in Bristol, is showing all the World Cup games on 10 huge screens, with DJs, competitions, giveaways and more. And each England match will feature a Sky Sports presenter, plus a Bristol football figure in person at the venue. The first England game against Iran is being played on Monday lunchtime, with the kick-off at 1pm.

And fans at Bambalan will be able to watch the game with former Bristol Rovers player and manager Ian Holloway, pictured inset. The EnglandUSA game on Friday, November 25, will see Bristol City legend Louis Carey join fans, while the final group game of England v Wales, on the evening of Tuesday, November 29, will see Bristol City legend Marvin Elliott join fans.

The World Cup Final will see Bristol City maverick Lee Trundle join fans. Bambalan is showing all the World Cup games and it’s free entry – except for England games, where fans will be charged £30 per person for a table of six, or £50 per person for a ‘VIP table’ – with a pizza and a drink thrown in.
