Clean air for everyone

TALK of “clean air” for cyclists is a mistake. The clean air is for all in Bristol, and should be based on the legal MOT emissions test that all petrol and diesel cars must pass each year – a scientific test regardless of age since age has no bearing on any emissions, and vehicles of all ages that pass the legal construction and use requirements should be eligible.

Bristol’s categorising of vehicles is basically illegal, being unfounded in fact.
