Body found in hunt for missing woman

A BODY has been discovered in Bristol during a search for a missing woman.

Avon and Somerset Police were called by a member of the public on Thursday saying they had found a body near the A4 Portway.

It is believed to be that of missing Vivien from Clifton. The 75-year-old was last seen on Sunday, November 13.

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that her next of kin has been informed. The circumstances around the death are not believed to be suspicious.
