Halogen heaters are money-save tip
MARTIN Lewis’s Money Saving Expert website has come up with a tip to save money in the cost of living crisis.
It says halogen heaters are a cost-effective way to keep warm as temperatures continue to plummet.
The MSE team says: “Halogen heaters are directional. Once on, you instantly feel the heat. As soon as you turn them off, the heat quickly dissipates.”
It has been reported that a halogen heater from Argos, costing £40, has thousands of five star reviews. The heaters are estimated to cost around 40p an hour to run.
One reviewer said the Beldray halogen heater was an “amazing way to keep warm with very little use of electricity”.
