Even greener Bristol

-

A NEW report has put Bristol at somewhere like fourth in Britain in terms of its city-centre greenery.

That is brilliant, but we could do better. Exeter is number one. That is where Bristol should aim to be.

I suggest opening up the Frome across the Tramway-Centre, and planting trees and shrubs there to create a riverside park.

New building materials and techniques, including special bricks and tiles incorporating green materials, such as mosses and algae, on vertical greened walls would reduce pollution.

Generally greening the Centre would, along with reducing pollution, improve wellbeing and health in the city, making it an even more attractive town for visitors and residents alike.
