Ukrainian advances

IT’S great to read of the advances and successes of the Ukrainian Army at retaking areas invaded by Russia earlier this year.

Ukraine is fighting with great skill and intelligence.

They are blasting the Russian ammunition dumps and the Russian command-and-control centres in order that their forces can advance.

There has been a high cost – a very high cost – in people killed and injured. But this is the frontline for freedom.

If we continue with our Western support for Ukraine with modern weapons and training, then they can retake their country and do us all a favour by pushing the Russians out.
