THE FLATSHARE
Paramount+
This daft premise is a unique and irresistible take on a classic will-theywon’t-they romcom.
Downton Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay plays Tiffany, a junior writer at an online magazine where she barely earns anything. Leon (Brassic actor Anthony Welsh) is a hospice care worker, trying to earn money to get his innocent brother out of jail.
The stupid part is that they share a flat – and a bed – but have never met. She sleeps there from 8pm to 8am, then must leave before Leon arrives home after his night shift.
No cross over is allowed and they communicate via Post-It notes.
It’s all beautifully predictable. There’s sabotage, misunderstanding and a desperate need for these two people (pictured) to get together…
