Blenheim Palace, Gardens and Park are generally open daily. Battlefields & Baroque, an exhibition on the life of the 1st Duke of Marlborough, including 18th-century armour, a court feast and costumes from the film The Favourite, is at the Palace until the end of May.

The Marlborough 300 Pageant (30-31 July) will see battle re-enactments, with horses, muskets, flags, drums and cavalry charges, as well as historical cameos and encampments showing life in the late 17th century. www.blenheimpalace.com
