IN THE LIMELIGHT

Your article about West End theatre [Vol 90 Issue 2] brought back warm memories of a dear friend who passed away in 2016. He had worked as an actor and director in London, and for over twenty years he and his wife escorted groups of eager Vancouverites for ten days of sightseeing and theatregoing in London. I participated in a dozen of these excursions, and have visited every one of the theatres you highlighted, along with many others, and nothing would please me more to visit them again. London’s theatre scene is the most remarkable and diverse in the Englishspeaking world.
