Come to Durham and study the archaeology of the medieval and modern world in our exciting new course. This is a wide ranging archaeology programme that builds on your passion for history through researching historic sites, material culture and museums. Study the material remains of the ancient, medieval and modern worlds, with an emphasis on the last 600 years. The Department of Archaeology at Durham is a world leader in the study of the archaeology of the medieval and post-medieval world. We research and pursue eldwork across the world from the UK to the Forbidden City, China.
