Wye Valley - 7 September 2019
Running from Chepstow to Monmouth, the Wye Valley route takes hikers through a stunning countryside beginning right at the English and Welsh border. Tintern Abbey is the main highlight along the way, and this 12th Century landmark has recently undergone two years of painstaking restoration work. This gives visitors a fascinating insight into the daily lives of the monks who lived there many hundreds of years ago.
