Fundrais­ing is now on tap at Ren­nie Grove Hospice shop

THE lo­cal Ren­nie Grove Hospice Care shop in Bea­cons­field re­ally does have fundrais­ing on tap with a novel de­vice to help cus­tomers look­ing to find new ways of sup­port­ing the char­ity.

For the past few weeks, peo­ple pop­ping in to the Penn Road shop have been able to ‘Tap for Change’ by mak­ing con­tact­less bank card do­na­tions via a smart new gad­get in the eye-catch­ing pink and pur­ple Ren­nie Grove colours.

They can choose how much they wish to give, with the pro­ceeds go­ing to­wards 24/7 re­spon­sive hospice at home care for lo­cal peo­ple and their fam­i­lies, tai­lored to their own needs and wishes.

The 27 Ren­nie Grove shops across Bucks and Herts pro­vide an im­por­tant source of fund­ing to­wards this spe­cial­ist care, thanks to their pop­u­lar ap­peal among shop­pers look­ing for qual­ity goods at hard-to-re­sist prices.

Many reg­u­lar shop­pers call in weekly – with some even pop­ping in each day.

The shops are friendly, wel­com­ing and stocked with all kinds of tempt­ing bar­gains – from fash­ions for all ages, books, toys and pretty jew­ellery to use­ful home­ware and that must-get greet­ings card.
