CHILDREN FROM IVER HEATH SCHOOL GET CREATIVE WITH TASK TO GIVE REC A SPLASH OF COLOUR
AS part of Heathrow’s community engagement, children from Iver Heath School have teamed up with artists from Positive Arts to create a colourful mural in Iver Heath Recreational Ground.
In partnership with Keep Britain Tidy, and funded by Heathrow Community Investment Programme, the transformation took place at the end of September, following a poster design competition that was held at Iver Heath Junior school.
The students that came up with the most creative and exciting designs were asked to swap their pens and pencils for spray paint.
The mural was completed on September 28, and will provide a colourful backdrop to the local recreational space.
