DuBAI’S land­mark five-star, wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Ho­tel has re­opened af­ter a five-month makeover.

Guests will ar­rive at a more airy lobby atrium with views of the fa­bled Burj Al Arab ho­tel and ki­netic art in­stal­la­tions.

Rooms and suites will also have Burj views, a new beach and water colour scheme and Hyp­nos beds.

Food and drink op­tions in­clude D&A, La Par­illa and up­town Bar, the sea-in­spired Villa Beach, Beach­combers and Ocean Blue. Then there’s fam­ily din­ing hub Kitchen Con­nec­tion with nine in­ter­ac­tive cook­ing sta­tions for break­fast, lunch, din­ner and the leg­endary Fri­day Brunch. Pearl Lounge will serve a pearlin­spired af­ter­noon tea.

Be­sides the Kitchen, fam­i­lies also get their own leisure pool with an ex­panded swim-up bar and a new Kids’ Club in­spired by the un­der­wa­ter world. Guests con­tinue to have un­lim­ited ac­cess to the ad­ja­cent Wild Wadi Wa­ter­park.
