Brits are worried about their homes’ carbon footprints
According to research by AXA, a third of the nation believe their dwellings significantly add to the UK’S carbon footprint. Just 2% of those surveyed felt their property didn’t contribute, while 13% reckoned the impact was negligible. Surprisingly, only 32% of 18 to 24-year-olds said they were aware of their area’s recycling rules, in comparison to 68% of over 55s. The younger age group were also two thirds more likely to ignore eco-friendly advice and 15% less likely to worry about power usage.
