SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
Day 1
Before work commences the space is cleared, door frames are wrapped with foam padding and any furniture, lighting etc is fully protected in plastic.
Day 1-3
There is minimum disruption when installing a Spiral Cellar. The team excavates a hole for the cellar by hand which keeps noisy machinery off site – and the neighbours happy.
Day 4
The completed hole is fitted with steel shuttering rings to give the cellar structure. The ring is then lined with a robust waterproof liner.
Day 5
A uniquely designed modular system of interlocking concrete bins and steps, complete the cellar construction.
Day 8
Additional items such as stair treads and LED lights are fitted. The door is carefully fitted and protected while the floor in the room is re-laid and finished around the cellar. With the installation complete, the cellar is ready to be filled with wine and enjoyed.
