e Cochranes were originally going to have four rooflights in the extension, but eventually decided that two would be enough to bring in all the light they needed. “We had planned to sink slimline models into the zinc roof, but these wouldn’t have been able to open. So we changed to our Velux units”, says Jackie. “e recessed effect they create looks great. We can also open and close them with a remote, as well as control the blinds electronically”.
