We build you an empty shell; You do all the rest. How’s that for an idea? Ecosteel’s system builds your house fast - and it reduces costs drastically.

An “Ecosteel” house is built on a heavy-duty steel frame, precisely erected onto an array of screwpiles** (each supports 20 tons). Floors, walls, ceilings, internal walls and roof consist of tailored SIP panels, with an overall U-value of <0.16. The nished “shell” is based exactly on your design and drawings. And the best part? We don’t nish your Ecosteel house - You do.

Our “Barebones” Concept Ecosteel is owned, and was invented by, Framework Design & Construction Ltd. We’re NOT Developers we’re Steel Designers, Fabricators and Erectors. We worked on Ecosteel for nearly 18 months, evolving the concept of our Self-build Clients completing all the interior works to their own design and requirements.

So this is Ecosteel, in a nutshell. An airtight, very strong, highly e cient SIP “shell” house, with all window and door apertures. Modern roof cladding then completes the shell, ready for electrics, plumbing and services as well as kitchen and bathroom(s). NOTE: the External Renderboard cladding and nish (referred to on the right) is an Optional Extra - prices on request.
