What is the best natural insulation to use in a loft space?

I’m interested in using natural insulation in my loft – please can you advise me on what I should be looking into?

You have several choices here: sheepswool, hemp, recycled newspaper or rock wool could all work. Depending on your priorities, ‘best’ could mean many things, so it’s difficult to give any hard-and-fast advice.
