House building falls on both green and brownfield sites

Recent land use change statistics show fewer houses are being built on both greenfield and brownfield land. Joseph Daniels, founder of modular build company Project Etopia, says that he is pleased that the greenbelt is being preserved, but this shouldn’t be coming alongside a drop in the use of previously developed sites elsewhere. “Future generations need more housing,” he says. “There is plenty of scope for brownfield land being used for this.”
