THINK AHEAD WHEN it comes to landscaping. Taking delivery of soil and large quantities of sand is easier before the build is finished rather than after. Finding builders that can go on to do the landscaping is a good idea.

WHEN BUDGETING don’t forget the cost of landscaping. We accounted for ground preparation and the materials needed to lay artificial grass.

MAXIMISE THE USE of space in your home where possible. Although we can’t use the loft for bedrooms, we created two easily accessible storage and recreational zones.
