buildings with solid walls in Britain are uninsulated, according to a new report by AMA Research (www.amaresearch. co.uk). While the insulation market is growing in the UK, this is due to new housing targets and more residences being built, as well as people extending their homes, thus increasing demand. However, the retrofit market is in decline and evidence suggests that owners of solid-walled properties are reluctant to fit insulation without financial incentives.
