One a traditional property with a period garden room and the other a striking contemporary design, both however were renovations of the existing houses. Each an amazing transformation in their own right.

The first property is on the outskirts of Chelmsford Essex. Lomax + Wood supplied the main house and the Garden Room. Providing a single point of contact for made-to-order timber windows, doors, the roof lantern and ancillary items for the Garden Room.

The renovation was undertaken to ensure it was in keeping with the surrounding properties and the requirements of the conservation area. The traditional character was enhanced with Lomax + Wood timber flush casements, French doors, entrance doo and single doors. All the doors and windows offer high thermal, acoustic and security performance and are part Q compliant.

The second property is in Surrey an eye-catching contemporary design, timber windows and doors with a dual finish. The made-to-order timber windows and doors totally transformed the previously tired property into a vibrant, exciting and modern family home.

Floor to ceiling frames at the rear, with the dual finish of white internal and graphite grey externally, make for a light and open family dining room. Allowing for enjoyable everyday meals or exciting dinner parties with an all-round view of the landscaped garden and surroundings.
