East Sussex self build plots could get planning

Wealden District Council are considering a planning application for 119 houses and flats to be built within the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty. Developer Fairfax Acquisitions has applied for outline planning permission to build up the area, with the homes to be in fairly close proximity to Luxford Farmhouse, a grade II listed building. The application comprises 35% affordable housing, together with custom and self build plots, and could help meet the council’s housing and bespoke home targets.
